City & Corporate: Gardant wins law firm brief

London law firm Howard Kennedy has brought in Gardant Communications on a strategic comms brief to 'completely rebrand' the business.

Gardant, which won the top 100 law firm's account after a 12-way pitch, will provide strategic and creative comms advice to help grow the brand on a national level.

Giselle Daverat, PR and comms manager at Howard Kennedy, said the firm 'used to be a very closed book that didn't disclose figures or have the best reputation with the legal press'.

She explained that Gardant had been charged with a wide-ranging brief to revamp the brand's PR strategy through research and creative projects, media outreach, renewing its web presence and educating partners within the business.

Howard Kennedy formerly used legal specialist Byfield Consultancy.
