Saga launches health app.

Saga, the over-50s lifestyle organisation, has launched its first health-related iPhone app with information on medical conditions and health topics, as well as a database of private and NHS hospitals and contact details for a wide range of health specialists.

The British Journal of Healthcare Assistants editor Joe Williams is joining the Green Party's London Mayoral election campaign as press officer. In his new role, Williams will promote the party's candidates and campaign messages and will also work on campaign launches.

Diabetes UK has launched an iPhone app providing users with a place to store and monitor their data and get a better idea about what might be affecting their blood glucose levels.

Weber Shandwick has been reappointed by the Medical Technology Group following a competitive pitch. MTG is a coalition of patient groups, research charities and medical device members that work to make medical technologies widely available. Weber Shandwick will continue to provide public affairs support to MTG.
