Four Communications expands with new offices in Edinburgh and Oman

Four Communications is expanding its business with the opening of two new offices in Edinburgh and Muscat, Oman.

The new Edinburgh office will be launched on 3 October 2011 while the Muscat office will be open in the coming weeks. Four currently owns offices in London, Liverpool, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The Edinburgh division will be run by Scotsman and associate director Alan Laing, whose background lies in PR and public affairs, providing corporate comms advice and public affairs counsel.

Earlier this month, the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games organising committee appointed Four Communications to develop its digital media strategy.

Commenting on the expansion, the group’s chief executive Nan Williams said:

 ‘The Scottish PR and public affairs market has developed since devolution and we want to ensure that our clients and potential clients in Scotland can have easy access to our award-winning service.’

Williams added: ‘In Oman, we already have clients with whom we have been working such as the refining and petrochemicals company Orpic and tourism development company Omran.'
