mBlox, the mobile transaction firm, has appointed Brands2Life for an international PR brief. Brands2Life will work on mBlox's comms strategy across the UK, US, France, Spain and South America, aiming to position mBlox as a strategic mobile commerce partner for consumer brands and their agencies.

Train4TradeSkills, the e-learning company, has signed up EML Wildfire as its UK PR agency. EML Wildfire aims to drive brand awareness and build credibility in the consumer market.

Citigate Dewe Rogerson has hired Skywrite's programme director Heather Forty as a director responsible for its roster of consumer and consumer technology accounts. Forty reports to Brandon Stockwell, who heads up the consumer practice.

McCann Manchester is launching a specialist earned media arm called McCann Talk. The agency wants the service to be a fully integrated offering of digital engagement, SEO, social media, PR, community engagement and events. Social media and PR director Robin Wilson will lead the 25-person team.

MyDrive Solutions, the insurance data company, has called in ITPR as its first UK PR agency to handle SEO activity and analyst relations around online and offline insurance. The agency will target finance, technology and the telematics trade media.

Lewis PR has launched the Lewis Employee Development Academy to search for Europe's top graduates. The tech agency has appointed Suzy Ferguson as programme director to create a six-month training scheme where graduates spend three months in its London office and three in their 'home' markets.
