Hughes and Neale become presidents, international – reporting to agency CEO Fred Cook.

Additionally Gary Rudnick has been named as president of the Americas.

‘Jon, Matt and Gary’s list of accomplishments is very impressive,’ said Cook. ‘Matt and Jon have driven our London office into one of the hottest brands in the market, while tripling our revenue. Gary grew our Texas operation into one of our biggest, and then doubled the size of our Chicago headquarters office. I am confident they will continue that same trajectory for the entire agency.’

Hughes and Neale joined the agency together in 2005 from sister agency Weber Shandwick to lead GH’s UK operations. In 2008, they assumed co-leadership of Europe and have since tripled revenue in the UK and have added offices in Paris, Stockholm and Bucharest.

In June GolinHarris embarked on a global reorganisation of the agency to scrap its top-down, pyramid structure of comms generalists.

The agency became based around four teams of dedicated specialists, flattening its hierarchy and axing traditional job titles. Client teams are now based around four specific areas of expertise - strategists, creators, catalysts and connectors.
