BaseKit, the website builder and hosting service, has called in Skywrite as its UK PR team. The company declined to say whether it previously used an agency. BaseKit has charged Skywrite with raising its profile, as well as the profiles of its spokespeople in the UK business and technology community.

Buddy Media, the social media management software company, has hired Nelson Bostock Communications as its first UK agency ahead of global expansion plans. Buddy Media is used by companies including Ford, L'Oreal and Hewlett-Packard. Nelson Bostock will focus on raising awareness of Buddy Media and the value of social media management with key influencers, including global brands and agencies, in a b2b remit.

Chambord, the premium black raspberry liqueur, has called in the TVC Group as its social media agency. The six-figure account was previously held by Brave PR. Chambord wants TVC to help it align the brand with the fashion world and to target stylish women with a content-driven approach.

LEWIS PR has launched its alternative to AVEs, called LSCORE. The agency has billed the move as a response to the market need for more precise and comprehensive measurement. LSCORE is a measurement application that charts key performance indicators, visualising progress against comms goals related to volume, depth, sentiment, engagement and conversion.

Kidoo, the social buying website, has asked Saibr PR to handle its UK launch. Saibr aims to promote Kidoo as a family friendly alternative to voucher discount sites. Kidoo will promote group buying to families by offering them exclusive discounts.
