Amir Khan enlists M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment for personal PR

Boxing world champion and Olympic gold medallist Amir Khan has called in M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment to handle his PR.

The sports agency has been called in to raise the profile of the IBF and WBA light welterweight champion and help position him as a major sporting personality beyond the world of boxing.

The creative comms specialists will work to increase Khan’s profile across a wide range of media by building on his reputation as one of the most successful British sports stars of the past decade.

It will also provide strategic media advice to the athlete’s management team with a view to developing his commercial potential.

Steve Martin, CEO of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, said: ‘Over the coming years, Amir has the potential to become one of the best known personalities in British sport. We will do our utmost to provide the necessary support and advice to help him to achieve this.’

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment works for brands including Coca-Cola, Reebok and The FA as well as representing sporting stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lewis Hamilton, Wayne Rooney and Mark Webber.
