First Tuesday North, the new economy network, has appointed Leeds-based Brahm to handle its PR.

There are no fees for the account. Instead, the two companies are working on a 'mutually beneficial basis', according to account director Ross Brown, e-PR manager at Brahm.

Brahm will handle PR for First Tuesday North, which, in turn, will provide stories and publicity about Brahm to the e-business community. The agency offers a full service, including web design, and is keen to target this sector.

Brown reports to Nick Pascoe, First Tuesday North co-founder. 'When we decided to raise our profile, we immediately approached Brahm, as Ross had been involved with us for a number of months,' he said.

First Tuesday North has 3,500 members, with meetings held in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool and Sheffield.
