PUBLIC SECTOR: MDPR wins Meetings Industry Assoc PR

MDPR has been appointed by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) to handle its public relations. The Tunbridge Wells-based agency replaces Harrison-Cowley on the account after a five-way pitch. MDPR director Mike Dobbie will head the account, and has been given a brief to recruit new members, build the profile and promote individual organisations within the MIA. He will report to the chief executive Charles Blowfield.
