Campaign Comtek takes e-waste campaign to Parliament

STRATEGY AND PLAN
The PR team secured one of the most influential advocates of green ICT, Catalina McGregor, as a keynote speaker at the seminar. It also assembled a panel of experts to debate various issues affecting sustainability in business and briefed relevant publications prior to the event.
MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION
Twenty journalists attended the event and the campaign generated 20 pieces of coverage in a special report on environment and business in the Financial Times.
Comtek saw a 25 per cent increase in sales enquiries and traffic to its website rose by 30 per cent during the period. The company's CEO has since been asked to comment regularly on issues concerning e-waste.
