PUBLIC SECTOR: CRE picks Consolidated for race review job

The Commission for Racial Equality has appointed Consolidated Communications to promote a document to be released later this year, currently with the working title, Blueprint for Britain. This is the first time the CRE has used the agency, which was appointed without a pitch. Consolidated director Ed Vaizey and research officer Sarah Cotton will carry out the work and report to CRE director of policy and communications Phil Barnett. Vaizey said: 'It's a review of where we've reached and where we are going to be in the next 25 years in terms of race relations.'
