Poynt Corp, the Canadian mobile app developer, currently has ten million global users for its free app, Poynt.

The app allows users to search for local restaurants, businesses and cinemas, and book tickets and tables.

CC Group will focus on building Poynt's European b2b market presence, while sister agency Escapade will drive Poynt's consumer PR account.

Margaret Glover-Campbell, marketing vice-president for Poynt, said: 'We need an agency to help drive our growth in Europe. Our aim is to be used like a verb - just like Google.'
