Everything Everywhere is understood to be set to appoint a combined GolinHarris/Weber Shandwick offering for a part of the mobile operator's £1 million PR brief.

However, sources have suggested that this is not the only news set to come out regarding agency appointments for the operator.

The brief is to work for Everything Everywhere on its consumer, business to business and corporate work. It is also thought to include some work for sub-brands Orange and T-Mobile. Everything Everywhere was formed from the merger of Orange and T-Mobile earlier this year.

In March, GolinHarris/Weber Shandwick were shortlisted alongside Nelson Bostock and The Red Consultancy for the £1m PR brief. GolinHarris has previously worked for Orange since 2006.

Everything Everywhere declined to comment.

Everything Everywhere is Britain's largest comms company with around 28 million customers. It is a 50-50 joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and France TÈlÈcom and was formed in 2010 through the merger of their respective T-Mobile (UK) and Orange UK businesses.

Last November, Everything Everywhere appointed Mat Sears as head of PR. Sears, who was head of PR at Orange, reports to brand comms director Stuart Jackson.

Last month, Everything Everywhere CEO Tom Alexander resigned, citing 'personal reasons'.
