Launched in 2009, the health education division of Virgo has grown to a team of 13 and has picked up a number of industry awards, including being highly commended in the Communiqué Specialist Consultancy of the Year award last month.
Stephenson, who joins Virgo from Ogilvy Healthworld, will be responsible for managing the delivery of medical education programmes for a range of clients including GSK, UCB, Roche and Astellas.
Neil joins Virgo from GlaxoSmithKline after six years and has held a number of senior roles across the business, working in global regulatory affairs, commercial for emerging markets and more recently in global medical affairs. At Virgo, she will be working on education programmes for clients including Takeda and Novartis.
Commenting on the appointments, Virgo’s business unit director Paul Archer said: ‘Their expertise across all aspects of medical education will be vital to ensuring the continued success of our approach to combining the traditional with cutting-edge digital solutions.’
