Channel 4 asks Shine Communications to promote urban culture series

Channel 4 has brought in Shine Communications to promote its new Street Summer series.

Launching this month, the series will celebrate Britain's urban culture, featuring programmes on topics ranging from street dance, urban sport, street art and graffiti, to rap, spoken word and hip hop.

Shine won the three-month project following a pitch process and will begin work immediately. The agency has been charged with handling all media relations around the series.

Street Summer launches on Friday 12 August and will be complemented by a range of shows on T4, More4, Film4 and 4Music.
