Powerscourt hires three consultants to grow retail and industrial business

City agency Powerscourt has added three consultants boost its retail and industrial practices.

Greg Lawless, a former equity analyst at HSBC, Blue Oar and Collins Stewart, has joined the agency to drive development of its retail and consumer industries practice. He specialised in the coverage of retail companies as an analyst and also spent nine years at Safeway in investor relations and corporate development roles.

Nick Dibden has joined the agency’s industrials team from Weber Shandwick Financial. He has ten years’ experience of financial PR activities, principally in the industrials sector.

Finally, Sarah Ryan joins from Drury Communications in Dublin, where she worked on clients including McDonald’s, Paddy Power plc and Wyeth.

The firm recently appointed Giles Sanderson, formerly of FD, as its third Partner, and Roddy Kennedy, formerly head of media with BP, as a member of its Advisory Group.
