BBC Worldwide's celebrity magazine aimed at teenagers, star, has raided Emap Elan to boost its team.

Peter Hart is leaving Bliss magazine, where he is features editor, to take up the post of deputy editor at star in December.

Hart will report to editor-in-chief Jeremy Mark.

Specific responsibilities are unclear at present, but Hart said: 'It will be down to the editor and myself to work out. It will eventually pan out that we have responsibilities across different sections.'

Hart has a track record in the entertainment sector, although he has not worked on a fortnightly title before.

He started at Bliss three years ago as celebrity editor, after freelancing for a variety of magazines including J17, Mizz and More.

Bliss has begun the search for a new features editor.

Kate Holton, formerly on the brand management team at Emap, has been appointed associate publisher of star.
