33 Digital to aid deal site

A web start-up that highlights online consumer deals has hired 33 Digital to help it take on market leader Groupon.

Whopaysfullprice.com is the idea of 23-year-old Adam Ludwin, who worked as an affiliate for Groupon and wants to learn from its mistakes.

Ludwin said: 'During my time with Groupon I studied trends, the deals that sold well and the people to target.'

The 'Silicon Roundabout'-based company is already in talks with Flora, T-Mobile and Blockbusters and has more than 1.5 million subscribers.

33 Digital will highlight the trustworthiness of the brand and promote its tie-in with Facebook, which lets users buy offers in the same way as they 'like' a comment.
