PUBLIC SECTOR: Local govt think-tank to expand comms

The New Local Government Network is to expand its communications team. The non-profit think-tank, which provides support to local government officers and councillors, is seeking a communications manager and publications and communications officer. The two posts replace communications officer Anna Randle, who becomes head of membership development. 'Over the last year we've had a 20 per cent increase in our turnover as a result of some very successful conferences. As a non-profit organisation that is being channelled back in so that we can build on our promotional work,' explained Campaigns manager Heidi Nash.
