PUBLIC SECTOR: Top PR posts at Age Concern fall vacant

> The two most senior PR posts at Age Concern have become vacant. The charity is looking for a head of public affairs following the departure of Jonathan Stearn who has left to join the Home Office's Active Community Unit. It also needs someone to fill a newly-created director of communications position. The head of public affairs oversees a team of 12 in the media, campaigns and parliamentary departments. The managers of these three departments - media relations manager Andy Allsop, parliamentary manager Richard Heller and campaign managers Caroline Gillcrest and Scott Davidson, have taken over Stearn's work in the short term.
