Talentcue to help firms and freelances team up

An internet-based service has launched aimed at helping overcome the problems involved in finding freelance PROs.

Talentcue, which describes itself as an electronic directory, aims to connect freelances directly to employers via a website.

For organisations seeking freelance help, the site has CVs which can be viewed by a range of criteria. For PROs the service offers a shop window, without restricting them to only using that site.

'We are connecting people who want work with those that need work, there is no third party intervention and it is commission-free,' said Talentcue managing director Nicola Coleman.

Instead, the organisations using the service are charged an annual or monthly subscription depending on their size. Freelances pay pounds 17 per month to sign up to the service.

Talentcue currently has a database of more than 1,500 freelances (who are not vetted). In excess of 300 organisations have already registered, including not just PR companies but also design and marketing firms.
