MEDIA BRIEFS: Aerodeon gets Mars/Sugar txt msg deal

The trend among teen magazines to offer mobile phone text messaging tie-ins has continued with a deal between confectioner Mars and Attic Futura's Sugar. From January, the magazine and the sponsor will send messages to readers. The scheme is handled by mobile marketing firm Aerodeon, which has also set up something similar for IPC Media title 19 magazine (PRWeek, 3 November).
