The role has been newly created by the agency whose structure previously was to have heads of technology and consumer rather than an overarching head of UK. The agency is in the process of appointing a new consumer head and is looking to fill the technology position internally.

Littlewood will oversee the firm’s complete portfolio and take control immediately in working to help the agency expand. She will report into Andres Wittermann, executive vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Commenting on the role Littlewood said: ‘With 16 years of continuous growth and plans to make a record reinvestment in its core business, LEWIS has an extremely compelling future. It's a privilege to lead the UK team during a time of such dynamic expansion.’

Littlewood has worked at Lewis since 2010 after moving from Trimedia where she was director of Technology. Clients she’s worked for include Microsoft’s Consumer Division, HP and Lexmark.

Wittermann, executive vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa, added: ‘Her creative approach to talent management has not only gained the respect of her team, but also directly resulted in attracting new, influential clients into the UK portfolio. We’re very pleased she will take the UK helm and work with our other country leaders to further grow the business.’
