Golley Slater wins Stilton Cheese Makers' Association consumer PR account

Golley Slater will promote Stilton cheese as an everyday ingredient after winning the national consumer PR account of the Stilton Cheese Makers' Association (SCMA).

The account will be managed by Golley Slater’s London office and a key part of its campaign will be the launch of a ‘National Stilton Week’.

The campaign will encourage Stilton lovers to think creatively about how to use the cheese – whether in soups, sauces or just crumbled on to beans on toast.

Jayne Bassham, Golley Slater London MD, said: ‘Our focus will be on consumer-facing activities, running the day-to-day press office and managing social media on behalf of the SCMA.  As part of our induction, the team will be donning wellies, white coats and hats and visiting a Stilton-producing dairy.’
