Fans of early 80s computer games will be pleased to know that youth, gay and early-adopter PR firm Green Pyramid launches its website this week with the centrepiece being a recreated Battle Zone computer game.
In order to get to the green pyramid at the centre of the site, the player has to fight through a 3-D maze and 'shoot down sinister bad guys'.
Green Pyramid's site was developed by web firm Fibre, which takes an uncompromising line on existing PR agencies' sites.
'We hope the site will provide an antidote to the heavy selling and frankly tedious approach most of the communications sector seems to have taken,' says creative guru Konstantinos Gargaletsos.
If the excitement of that is not enough for adrenalin junkies, other plans for the site include a monthly 'scurrilous' column for the communications industry.
The agency's director of creative strategy Matt Forbes Dale says: 'It will be penned by one of us here under a fake name. The character we create will basically pass on unsubstantiated rumour as fact. The more damaging the better.'
