PUBLIC SECTOR: Matz to manage Carers' Week campaign

A consortium of four charities has appointed Paul Matz, former Community Service Volunteers external relations officer, to head the Carers' Week campaign. The annual event, previously organised solely by the Carers' National Association, is now in association with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, Contact a Family and Crossroads-Caring for Carers. Matz takes on the newly-created post of project manager, with responsibility for publicity and promotions. He reports to the chief executives of the four charities. The campaign has benefited from a pounds 226,000 National Lottery grant.
