PUBLIC SECTOR: Turmoil continues at Herts Constabulary

Media relations manager Rachael Ditchfield is the latest departure from the depleted communications team at Hertfordshire Constabulary. She has resigned to live abroad and her departure means there are now five vacancies in the unit. The force is still looking for a head of corporate communications to replace Rachel Stopard who left last October to become head of communications at Suffolk County Council. Since October, PROs Naomi Fulwood, Annabel Coakley and job-sharers Sam Newby-Ricci and Kathryn Hearn have moved on. Acting head of corporate communications, Angie Patton, denied any link between the departures.
