LFH wins brief to boost Novartis Pharmaceuticals

Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK has appointed Lowe Fusion Healthcare (LFH) to raise its profile among customers.

Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK has appointed Lowe Fusion Healthcare (LFH) to raise its profile among customers.

MD Julia Cook will head the account, and lead a team of six. She reports to Novartis Head of HealthComm, Sarah Marshall. LFH was chosen after a three-way pitch.

Cook said her team would review the communications procedure with the company's customers, who include GPs, nurses, hospital managers and pharmaceutical suppliers.

'This is a different brief for us as it is not product-related. We will look at the company's meeting process, review standards and practice procedures in its medical education programme and ensure conferences and seminars staged by Norvatis are run efficiently,' said Cook.

LFH will work closely with its sister agency Lowe Azure on creative and branding aspects.

It also runs the UK PR programme for the Novartis transplant rejection drug Neoral, and is working with various product teams at Novartis International in Basel, Switzerland.

- NHS author and consultant Carolyn Semple Piggot has joined LFH to spearhead its enhanced NHS offerings.
