Cestria Community Housing Association, an independent social landlord providing rented housing in Chester-Le-Street, is seeking an agency to help with its promotion efforts.

The brief outlines that it is seeking ‘public relations advice in relation to a wide variety of issues facing a registered provider of social housing, assistance in relation to promotional campaigns and the preparation of public's annual reports’.

The contract will be for a maximum period of five years, meaning that the full fees will amount to £750,000. The full details will be set out in the contract documents.

Cestria Community Housing Association took over all the ownership and management of all the Chester-le-Street District Council homes in early 2008 after tenants voted for this change.

An agency is expected to be appointed by next January.
