Expanding telecoms firm Kingston Communications has hired Propeller Marketing Communications for its Thames Valley launch.
The agency won the account, worth around pounds 80,000, without a pitch and starts work immediately.
The former Sunday Business PR manager Vicky Hurley has been hired to head the account, reporting to Kingston's Joe Doyle, Thames Valley marketing manager.
The PR team has been tasked with announcing the arrival of the plc into the region, and building awareness of the firm and its services.
Propeller takes responsibility for media relations, including on-line PR; direct communication with the local community; sponsorship of Reading FC and Harlequins rugby club, and partnerships with local business.
