Mark Hutchinson Management (MHM) launched today with celebrity chef Nigella Lawson, with whom Hutchinson has worked for 12 years, as one of its founder clients.

Hutchinson left Colman Getty, in December 2010 after 13 years, during which time he worked on a range of high profile clients, including Lawson, Andrea Levy and JK Rowling – all of whom he will continue to work with at MHM.

‘I left to Colman Getty to do some freelance work and to think about what I was going to do next,’ said Hutchinson.

‘As time went on, I realised I wanted to develop the areas of expertise that I had in my previous job and it made sense to start up on my own.’

Previously, Hutchinson also managed publicity for internationally renowned book prizes, including the Man Booker International Prize and the BBC Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction.
