As part of the project, charities Breast Cancer Care and the Prostate Cancer Charity will form a partnership for the first time.

East London-based Canoe won the brief following a three-way pitch and will cover all aspects of PR, as well as a digital and creative programme.

Canoe has devised a campaign that brings together the two charities to create Team PB, a team of more than 900 runners in the 2012 London Marathon.

Part of the PR brief is to promote Team PB and recruit runners to the partnership.
