FF&P calls in Cubitt

Fleming Family & Partners, the privately owned asset management firm with more than £3.5bn in assets, has called in Cubitt Consulting to advise on financial and corp comms.

The company, which is the descendant of London-based asset manager Robert Flemings Holdings and was sold to Chase Manhattan Bank for $7.7bn in 2000, will use Cubitt for its UK PR needs.

Cubitt will provide comms and media relations advice to the firm across all areas of activity, including private equity investment, corporate finance advice and specialist funds.

The account will be led by managing partner Simon Brocklebank-Fowler, who will report to Mark Davies, FF&P's chief executive.

The firm in its preceding forms dates back to 1873, when it was established by Robert Fleming, grandfather of James Bond novelist Ian Fleming.
