PUBLIC SECTOR: Wallace to run ARP/50 public relations

The largest social and campaigning organisation for the 50-plus age group in the UK, The Association of Retired Persons Over 50 (ARP/50), has appointed a new PR manager. Paula Wallace will work closely with the editor of the association's bi-monthly lifestyle magazine Goodtimes and other publications. She replaces Clive Burton, who has been appointed PR manager at the Royal Ballet School, and will report to ARP/50 general manager David Denyer. Wallace was formerly communications manager at Blendon Communications, the publisher of What House? and Overseas Homes. Blendon is using consultants until a successor is appointed.
