London-based 6Consulting is a social media firm offering social media monitoring to enterprises and agencies in the UK. 6Consulting’s clients include Kellogg’s, EDF, Belron International, Dyson, Fujitsu, Sony Ericsson, the Central Office of Information (COI), the Metropolitan Police, the Greater Manchester Police, as well as many of the region’s public relations and ad agencies. The firm has been an official reseller for Radian6 since 2009.

When the acquisition concludes the 20 employees at 6Consulting will become employees of Radian6 Technologies UK Inc. That will take the total number of employees at Radian6 to over 280.

'The United Kingdom is a strategically important market for Radian6,' said Marcel Lebrun, CEO of Radian6. "We have a strong and growing customer base in the UK and we are seeing strong market momentum as many other businesses and agencies adopt listening platforms to engage with their customers on the social Web. With the acquisition of 6Consulting, we will be able to better service this important market.'
