AvePoint selects Axicom for six-figure brief

Axicom has won a six-figure account with software firm AvePoint to increase its EMEA presence through a pan-European campaign.

The agency is charged with increasing market awareness for AvePoint and its key products, the DocAve software platform and DocAve for Salesforce, by building a strong company profile. Traditional campaigning will be underpinned by online and social media-led activities.

Calyx, the IT services firm, has hired Chameleon to handle PR. Chameleon will promote Calyx to medium-sized businesses in the UK by addressing issues such as IT overheads.

Neal's Yard Remedies has appointed JBP to handle PR for its home-selling channel NYR Organic. JBP is to create a campaign that focuses on recruiting consultants and increasing consumer awareness of its direct selling business. Through the use of social media channels, it will highlight opportunities and the earning potential of becoming a work-from-home NYR Organic consultant.

Silver Peak, which focuses on speeding up large companies' broadband connections, has retained Johnson King to help boost the firm's European profile. It will be running an aggressive issues development and thought leadership campaign in the business, national and trade media to build brand awareness of Silver Peak. It will also aim to position the company as an expert in improving the performance and efficiency of IT networks.

33 Digital has won a brief with Mintel to be its first social media agency. Mintel, a market research company, wanted to capitalise on its social media audience in order to reach out to and engage with existing and potential clients.
