Luxury china firm Meissen selects Luchford APM to boost overseas expansion

Brands specialist Luchford APM has been called in by Meissen, one of Germany's oldest manufacturers, to promote its international expansion.

Meissen is one of the world's most famous and exclusive porcelain makers, which first starting producing goods in 1708.

The agency won the global brief following a pitch process and have been charged with overseeing all global comms activity, including Meissen’s corporate strategy, through to its luxury collections, museum and archive pieces.
 
The appointment comes as Meissen ventures into international expansion, with the aim of promoting its products in new target markets.
 
Meissen CEO Christian Kurtzke said: ‘Meissen is a brand with a rich and unique heritage. We feel passionately that there is a great opportunity to make Meissen more relevant to today’s increasingly discerning luxury market.'
 
Meissen currently has a number of its own boutiques in Germany and is sold through some of the world’s most respected luxury retailers.
