Doherty will be charged with bringing in new digital business, using her commercial client experience to bring in brands. She will report to Paul Bennun, Somethin’ Else’s director of digital.
Doherty said: ‘I'm thrilled to be joining a company that has been creating compelling, high quality content for both broadcasters and brands for the last 20 years, that is behind some of the most innovative digital content in the UK, and that continues to break new ground at the point where online and traditional media meet.’
She will also be responsible for building Somethin’ Else’s communications strategy across online and social media platforms.
Previously, she was a digital consultant at Rabbit’s sister agency Cow, where she worked on accounts such as Sony, Vauxhall and Heinz.
