The League Against Cruel Sports used last week's sixth anniversary of the Hunting Act coming into force to launch a new Twitter-based 'hunt map'.

The map shows the location of incidents relating to fox and stag hunting, and hare coursing. Members of the public can add information to the map using Twitter hash tags.

Amazon has been appointed to promote a partnership between NCT, the UK's largest parenting charity, and Bepanthen nappy care ointment.

The project will focus on generating national, regional and local coverage.

The Social Media Foundation has recruited Leonora Merry as head of media and external affairs. Merry joins from her post as comms officer at Resolution, the family lawyers' association.

Kidney Research UK is celebrating its 50th year in operation with the launch of its SHOUT! campaign.

The campaign has been designed to highlight the current lack of awareness associated with kidney disease, the often silent nature of the symptoms and the resulting impact upon charitable donations towards finding a cure.
