Public Sector: Devon hires Porcupine to boost resorts

Manchester-based agency Porcupine has been appointed to handle PR and promote the tourist attractions of South Devon for Teignbridge District Council. The agency will be running competitions in the national press to promote resorts across the region. Among them will be Dawlish Warren, where a woman last year contracted e.coli and died soon afterwards. Porcupine account director Rachel Burk will be in charge of the account, reporting to the council’s marketing officer, Keith Taylor. There was no previous agency.
