BORDER LINES: BERMUDA - Island gains first local PR agency

The island of Bermuda has its first local PR agency following the opening for business of Linda Smith Associates. Previously PR services on the insurance and tourism mecca were only provided by advertising agencies or by larger firms servicing clients on the island from New York or London offices. LSA CEO Linda Smith Wilson plans to handle island-based projects for the insurance industry and sub-contract as an on-site consultant for international agencies. Wilson was formerly deputy director of communications for insurance/banking conglomerate ACE.
