MEDIA BRIEFS: Parkhill decides on Aura for women’s title

Parkhill Publishing has decided to name the women’s monthly it is launching at the beginning of April, Aura. The title is aimed at women over 30 and is expected to have a print run of over 200,000 copies. Parkhill chairman Eve Pollard promises Aura will have a high standard of writing and an intellectually adventurous agenda. Aura will cover popular culture, politics, medicine, technology, fashion, the arts and society and is edited by Deirdre Vine, who joined from Woman’s Journal where she had been editor for ten years. Parkhill formed in May 1999, and has launched one other magazine, the monthly Wedding Day.
