Autoglass appoints Lewis PR as retained agency

Autoglass, the leading vehicle glass repair and replacement service, has completed its search for a new agency with the appointment of Lewis PR.

Lewis won the account following a competitive pitch and will advise Autoglass on its consumer, corporate and social media PR campaigns as the brand looks to expand in 2011.

Autoglass began looking for a new agency back in October 2010 after pledging to ramp up its PR activity in 2011.

Samantha Day, PR manager for Autoglass, said: 'We received a huge response to our PR agency tender and we spoke to a number of very strong contenders. We're are very excited at the prospect of taking our communications to the next level in 2011 and establishing Autoglass as a respected industry commentator.'

Autoglass is part of the global glass replacement company the Belron Group and services in excess of 1.5 million motorists every year via 1,400 mobile service units and a national branch network.
