Bartlett’s appointment follows TUI’s head of public relations Emma Waddell and senior PR manager Ian Benjafield leaving their posts in October in voluntary redundancies as part of ongoing job cuts at the travel firm.

Bartlett (pictured below), who has worked on the PR team at the holiday agency for more than two years, will report to communications director, Christian Cull.

Her previous posts include head of PR and communications at Monarch, head of PR at Warner Leisure Hotels and a three-year tenure at consumer PR agency Biss Lancaster, where she rose to account director.

Cull said: 'I am delighted to confirm Liz's appointment. She brings considerable PR and travel experience to her knowledge of the business.'
