The newly combined entity will be named Redleaf Polhill and will operate from Redleaf’s existing offices in Smithfield, London.

Polhill was founded by Julian Polhill in 1990 and specialises in financial services, while Redleaf has built its presence in the professional and financial services sectors.

Emma Kane, founder and CEO of Redleaf, will become executive chairman of the combined company and Andrew Sharkey, currently a director of Polhill, will become CEO.

Polhill chairman Julian Polhill becomes a non-executive director, as does Redleaf's current chairman, Ian Rosenblatt.

Kane commented: ‘We share a passion for clear-sighted, client-focused PR which delivers measurable results. I am confident that our combined experience and high calibre team will create a formidable force in the market. I am very proud of the presence we have created in the market over the past decade and I am very excited about our future opportunities.’

Redleaf Polhill's combined financial and professional services clients include: Close Offshore, Henderson Investment Trusts, Liberum Capital, Royal London Group, Rowanmoor and RSM Tenon Group.

Sharkey added: ‘Redleaf is a perfect partner for Polhill. It already has a strong financial and professional services team that complements ours. Additionally, it offers a range of services from investor relations to design and consumer PR which will allow us to provide a broader offering to our current and prospective clients.’
