MEDIA: Pink wins VP role for CNBC Europe

Business channel CNBC Europe has named Jeremy Pink as vice president of news and programming. He succeeds Chris Graves, who is moving to run Dow Jones Interactive Publishing outside the US.

Business channel CNBC Europe has named Jeremy Pink as vice

president of news and programming. He succeeds Chris Graves, who is

moving to run Dow Jones Interactive Publishing outside the US.



Pink is currently editor in chief of Worldlyinvestor.com, the financial

markets, stocks, bonds and mutual funds news and information site which

he launched in 1998 and which now has more than one million visitors a

month.



In his new role, Pink will oversee CNBC’s 60-strong European news team,

which is headquartered in London and produces hourly UK business and

financial news updates. He will report to Marga McNally, president of

CNBC Europe, a joint venture between NBC and Dow Jones and Company.



Prior to launching Worldlyinvestor.com, Pink worked with Graves running

CNBC’s operations in Asia.



Graves will continue to be based in London, and his job will be to

negotiate alliances between Dow Jones and Wall Street Journal content

and internet service providers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and

Asia.
