MEDIA BRIEFS: Murray-Evans takes Shooting Times helm

Shooting Times deputy editor Julian Murray-Evans has been named to succeed Mark Hedges as editor of the title. Hedges was made publisher of IPC’s four country and leisure titles, which include Shooting Times and The Field, earlier this month. Murray-Evans has held his current role since 1997. Before that he spent four years as public relations manager for the Game Conservancy Trust. He is a former editor of Salmon and Trout magazine and began his journalism career as news editor of Shooting Times.
