MEDIA BRIEFS: Circulation soars for WSJ Europe

The Wall Street Journal Europe has achieved a sizeable six-month rise in circulation. Between January and June 2000 the paper’s daily circulation averaged 90,120, a 14.5 per cent rise on the same period in 1999. The paper was expanded in February this year, with a new section on technology and new media, called Networking, and a 20 per cent increase in staff to 90.
