PUBLIC SECTOR: Harrison Cowley takes on charity account

Manchester-based PR consultancy Harrison Cowley is to handle the local Community Foundation’s PR. The Foundation is a charity which aims to improve the quality of life of the community it is set up to serve by channelling money from local businesses and individuals to grass-roots causes. The two-strong Harrison Cowley team will be headed by associate director Sally Neary, and the campaign will target local press. The Community Foundation was set up 80 years ago in the US, where there are now around 600 groups, and in the UK 15 years ago, where there are currently 60 members.
