As an agency director, he has worked on a range of accounts including managing Lawson’s personal profile since 1998.

CEO Dotti Irving said: ‘Mark has been with Colman Getty for 13 years so his departure will be a huge wrench for us. We’ve worked together with fabulous clients and projects over the years and I know he’ll be missed by a lot of them and by everyone here at Colman Getty.'

Hutchinson’s departure has led to an internal restructure. Account director Kirsten Dennis has been promoted to director of the agency’s new digital and marketing department, alongside existing new media/digital manager Sheerin Aswat.

Irving said the move reflected a greater desire among clients for integrated marketing activity.

The agency recently won the PRCA award for the Best Media Relations campaign of the year.
